[edit | edit source]The Troubles were a period of intermittent conflict between British occupants and local Constabularies against partisans in Northern Ireland, forces such as the P.I.R.A; also known as the I.R.A; also known as "Provos" locally, and the R.I.R.A; also known as the "Real I.R.A".
The Troubles lasted between 1960s unto the late 90s.
